  • Project data: information about your space, lifestyle, business, design preferences, budget, and project requirements, submitted through the application form, the style questionnaire, or shared during our conversations.

  • Communication data: the content of emails, messages, and notes from calls between us.

  • Financial data: information necessary to process payments and issue invoices, including the billing address. Payment card details are handled directly by our payment processor and are not stored by us.

  • Documents and files: floor plans, photos, videos, and other materials you share in connection with your project.

Data collected automatically

  • Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on the site, and referring URL - collected through standard website analytics.

Special category data

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (such as health information, ethnic origin, or political opinions). If you share such information voluntarily in the context of your project - for example, accessibility requirements for a space - it will be treated with the highest level of care and used only for the purpose for which it was shared.

We collect personal data through the following channels:

  • The application form on the website

  • The style questionnaire sent as part of the onboarding process

  • Email, Whatsapp, and video call communications

  • Files shared through Google Drive or other agreed platforms

  • Automatic collection via website analytics tools and cookies

04.Why do we collect it

Your personal data is collected and used for the following purposes:

  • To provide interior design services - understanding your needs, producing design deliverables, managing project communications, and coordinating with third parties where applicable.

  • To communicate with you - responding to enquiries, sending project updates, scheduling calls, and delivering documents.

  • To process payments and issue invoices - fulfilling financial obligations under the service agreement.

  • To comply with legal obligations - maintaining records required under Portuguese tax and commercial law.

  • To improve this website - understanding how visitors use the site in order to improve content and user experience.

  • For portfolio and marketing purposes - with your prior consent or where a legitimate interest applies, images of completed projects may be used on the website, social media, or other professional materials. You may opt out of this at any time.

05.Who we share your data with

We only share data when necessary, and never sell personal data.

Your information may be shared with

  • Trusted service providers, incl. website hosting (Hostinger), payment providers (Stripe, PayPal), video and scheduling tools (Google Meets), cloud storage (Google Drive), project management (Notion), analytics and advertising platforms (Google, Meta), project presentation (Canva). These providers process data on our behalf and are required to protect it.

  • Contractors and suppliers: where you have engaged the project management service, relevant project documents (not personal data beyond what is necessary) may be shared with contractors or suppliers involved in the project.

International transfers

Some of the third-party services we use (such as Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission or other adequate transfer mechanisms to ensure your data is protected to GDPR standards.

06.Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

Project files and communication: up to 5 years after the project is complete. Financial and invoicing records: 10 years (legal requirement). Enquiry data (non-clients): if you submit the application form but do not proceed to a project, 12 months. Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.

07.Your rights under GDPR

Under GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent at any time, lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, the CNPD (www.cnpd.pt). We will respond to all rights requests within 30 days as required by the GDPR. Where requests are complex, we may extend this by a further two months and will notify you accordingly.

08.Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, incl. Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel. These help us understand website usage and improve our services. You can manage your cookie preferences through our cookie banner.

09.Children’s privacy
